Determination Part 1: Anxiety

So I managed to pick up an iPod Touch this weekend, but it was quite the journey. I’ll tell the tale using Inky in the next few comics. This was pretty much me during the last half hour of work on Friday.

Across the Universe was…well…interesting, I suppose. I didn’t love it, as I had expected to. It seemed to lack structure, like it wasn’t sure what it wanted to be. Granted, it was a Beatles musical and some of the scenes were done well, so I enjoyed those. However, overall, it didn’t really seem to work. If I had to give it a score, it’d probably be a 5/10 , as I’m very neutral about it. I didn’t hate it and I didn’t like it, it was okay. I can’t recommend spending $10 to see it, however if someone has it on DVD or you have a way of seeing it for free, I suppose you could. In closing, I would also like to state that some parts were clearly for people who were under the influence of some sort of drug, as was the case with a good amount of the theater that I was in.

Before I go, I would like to say that the iPod Touch is amazing and if you don’t have an iPhone, you should definitely pick one up.

’til Wednesday.
